Nissan Rogue earns 2017 Consumer Guide® Automotive Best Buy Award

During the 2017 Chicago Auto Show that took place on February 9th, the 2017 Nissan Rogue was officially named a 2017 Consumer Guide® Automotive Best Buy Award winner. This is a very prestigious award and in order to go through the process to be considered, every vehicle is thoroughly evaluated. During this evaluation, every aspect of every vehicle is considered and they also look at how each aspect pertains to the consumers’ real-world driving experience.

The award is given by the editors of Consumer Guide and the Nissan Chief Marketing Manager & Marketing Operations, Dan Mohnke, gave a statement after the announcement was made. He stated that this is a huge honor to even be recognized in this category. He went even further to state that this award really shows the value and strength of this vehicle.

The annual Consumer Guide Automotive awards are not easy to determine. In order to set out which vehicles will make the cut, the editors have to thoroughly evaluate and test drive more than 150 new vehicles every year. After they have done this, they create the Best Buy Award list, which is the highest ranking offered by Consumer Guide, and it only contains the best vehicles on the market.

2017 was a year full of changes for the 2017 Rogue. There were a lot of safety as well as visual enhancements done on the vehicle before it was released as the new model year. All of these changes resulted in a great benefit for the company, however, because it has driven sales growth to a new level for the vehicle and its segment. It is exciting to see how well it continues to perform through the remainder of the year as well as in the future with any additional upgrades and changes to make it even better.

After recognizing the 2017 Nissan Rogue as a Best Buy for 2017, the Consumer Guide Automotive editors also mentioned that the Rogue has an ideal fuel economy to offer consumers, refined interior materials for a better experience, and even a versatility in terms of passenger and cargo room that very few compact SUVs can match.

The Nissan Rogue has had three years of increased sales grown since the second generation redesign was introduced in 2014. In 21017, it made a huge difference and big step with a new look. This new look added more enhanced utility and also features a lot of Nissan Safety Shield technologies. There was even an expansion in the lineup with a new gasoline-electric hybrid powertrain model. This is the first time in history this has been offered with the Rogue.
