Consumers who were bummed when the Nissan Juke was phased out will be delighted to find that Nissan has once again outdone themselves with the 2018 introduction of the Nissan Kicks. This smaller crossover vehicle has some of the same fun and funky styling of the Juke, but really brings an element of sophistication to the table with improved interior space and a laundry list of available features that weren't available in the Juke. There are changes in more than just the name of this sporty subcompact, however. Nissan has shifted their focus firmly towards providing a much more functional vehicle at an entry-level price point and size.
EXTERIOR DESIGN
Two-tone color schemes evoke some visual excitement on the 2018 Kicks models, with a palette dominated by brilliant orange, blue, gray, white red and black available for this model year. The dynamic styling and sharp curves and Nissan's unique "floating" roof design is offset by a V-motion grille and wraparound visor looks for an overall dramatic effect aimed at young families and urban professionals. While the exterior didn't stray significantly from the previous Juke models, the interior and performance is where you'll see some significant differences between the two models. Exterior features include Intelligent Auto Headlights that provide for twilight activation of lights and automatic wipers as well as available LED low-beam headlights and signature accents. A rear roof spoiler and heated outside mirrors are practical and will aid driver appreciation.
